Martha & Rob Domont
Martha and Rob Domont are long time residents of Northern California and have been successful in providing family fitness clubs since 1998, beginning with Petaluma Valley Athletic Club in Sonoma County, continuing in 2007 with Redwood Health Club of Ukiah in Mendocino County, and more recently at Rolling Hills Club in Marin County. Rob & Martha appreciate the benefits that recreational sports and fitness have granted them in their own health and believe in the importance of family fitness. Rob is a tennis and racquetball player and Martha can often be found lap swimming in the pool but also enjoys exercise in all its forms. As an advocate for cancer research and prevention, Martha is also actively involved in the community raising funds and awareness. As owners of Redwood Health Club of Ukiah, Martha and Rob Domont work to ensure that each visit to one of their clubs is a positive experience beginning with a professional level of customer service, a clean and fully operating facility and superior programming. Rob and Martha hope to create a stress-free, relaxed and caring environment that is conducive to health, fitness and the all-encompassing well being of each member.
Denise moved to Ukiah in 1987 from Ojai Ca., with her husband Bill and son Luke. Denise has been employed at the Redwood Health Club of Ukiah since 1989 (then known as Redwood Health Club). With a B.A. in Recreation Administration; she started out in the Family Activities Department. In 1990, the Redwood Health Club bought the Deerwood Country Club (DDC). Denise went to DDC to start Summer Sports Camp and to work at the front desk. Later on, she became Club Manager. A year later, Denise moved back down to Redwood Health Club into the café, eventually becoming Café Manager for over eight years. In January 2011, Denise was asked if she would be interested being Membership Director and she accepted the position.
“Growing up in Ojai, I’ve always been active, playing in sports and enjoyed the outdoors. I knew that if I wanted to continue being active, I needed to stay fit. When the opportunity came up for me to join the club’s staff, I jumped on it and I never looked back. Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate my relationship with the members, the staff and the community. As Membership Director, I look forward to meeting new people and spreading the word about the benefits of health and family fitness thru the programs at the Redwood Health Club of Ukiah.”
